IPL Intranet Leave Applications

Here is what Leave Application on the Web looks like:

Employee Leave Application

First the employee logs in the IPL Leave Application website with his or her name and password through the Internet Explorer. The employee can then check for his/her leave status (including leave entitlements and balances) and apply for leave by clicking on the calendar for the selected dates.

The holidays and applied-leave-days with various statuses would be shown in different colours for employee's easy identification. The employee then selects the leave type through the drop down box, check and correct the dates and session details, and click on the submit button if everything is ok.

Leave Application Successful

The System would then come back with an acknowledgement saying that the application is successful, or the employee needs to retry the application if otherwise.

The System would then email the concerned parties, either the supervisor of the employee or the HR endorser. Normally there are two levels for the approval process. The approval process is done one after the other. The first level is the employee's supervisor and the second is the HR. The HR acts as the final approval for the application.

Screen for Leave Approval

There are the choices of 'Approve', 'Pending', and 'Reject' for each approval selection. After both levels had approved the leave application, an email is sent to the employee for notification and the leave would then be entered to the IPL HRIS Leave Module as a 'Leave Transaction'.

There is no need for HR to input the leave transaction again. See. It is so simple, efficient, and straightforward.

Leave Application status checking

The employees can always come back to check the status of their leave applications.
